Watched Momento on a plane yesterday.  I never knew what was going on at any point in the movie but still enjoyed it.

I did not care for American Sniper as much as I was hoping.

Spoilers (sort of) - I thought a lot of it was heavy handed. Too many conversations stating things that they were already showing or needed to be shown. For a movie that was supposed to be about a soldier's mental health when he was home and how he overcomes it, they showed very, very little of it.

before midnight. rough ridin' fantastic. everyone is running victory laps over linklater's boyhood, but the before trilogy is better.

Don't know if there are any engineer-kats out there who are also studio ghibli fans but if you haven't seen The Wind Rises you have to...

You have really been putting in some movie work lately.  I like it.

I don't have to much to report.  Paddington was just OK.  The dad from Downton is good.

I may have told this story, but I'm going to tell it again. I watched it on a plane, and when Brad Pitt is on the plane and realizes there were zombies, it all of a sudden cut to Brad Pitt and whoever was with him in some field. I asked the person that recommended the movie WTF that was about, and she explained that the plane crashed. The damn airline edited out the plane crash!

Seems like they would have only offered movies that didn't include a plane crash instead of going to the trouble of editing it out.

It was season 2 and I hadn't seen season 1 and it was making zero sense so I stopped watching. I'm guessing penis was also shown (if it's a part of the show).
