goonies is better than the book although the fact that the book has screen captures from the movie in it leads me to believe that the movie was made first.

When i was a kid, my parents took the fam on a road trip and got forrest gump on tape... i was i think around 10 and the movie had just been released the whole family watched it, the good wholesome movie that it is. I think somewhere around the pot-smokey handjob part of the book my mom shut it off. I remember thinking it was hilarious.

yeah. agreed. but boy, a lot of that movie is a bummer. i enjoyed watching it, but pretty heavy.

just finished whiplash. this movie is GOOD. favorite movie i've seen in some time. maybe since spectacular now. that miles teller is in some pretty good flicks.
