Lone Survivor
When one person, for whatever reason, has a chance to lead an exceptional life, he has no right to keep it to himself.

watched a movie called lone survivor last night
was pretty good but i wish they cast stallone instead of mark walhberg.  with his previous rambo experience, stallone would have taken lone survivor over the top.  but it was still pretty good.
why did the guys all have different guns?  seems like ok sure, maybe one sniper but the rest would be carrying a standard load out

not all different, two M4's and two Mark 12's.  Same ammo for both platforms, different setups

not so sure you are familiar with the guns used in the movie but hey- i'll give you the benefit of the doubt.  in my eye, they looked pretty different.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

It's the setup.  I like to set mine up to sound like an old dirt bike. Some others guys they like a sound like a spit wad out of a straw.  Folks are different is what it is.  It's your signature that way when you get to killin, they know it was you.

She was the best actress in the movie, though. I don't remember who she was up against that year.

suppressors? I highly doubt that any soldier in that province would use a suppressor.  my guys on the ground in that area got a good laugh out of the suggestion though, #bellylaugh

Watched The Signal this weekend.  Got a little lazy reading the plot summary and didn't realize it was a low budget Sci Fi flick.

I just got back. Everyone should see it, although I doubt I'll watch it again. Mysteries aren't as fun the second time around.

Watched Snowpiercer last night (after the Royals, of course). I don't get it - 95% on rottentomatoes? Might be one of the stupidest movies I've ever seen. Even if you set aside the completely nonsensical premise that humanities' last survivors are eternally circling the earth on a train - what? - the movie is still chock full of staggering nonsense. What was good about this movie except for maybe the a few of the amusingly over the top characters like the old blonde lady and the schoolteacher?
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

Going to see Gone Girl tonight

I noticed a couple of pretty big plot holes, but still a good movie with good performances. One of those movies I liked but wouldn't watch a second time. Will be a best picture contender and probably should be.

I was just surprised because a lot of people I talked to just raved about what an amazing thriller the book was, but the plot holes got pretty glaring about the time little miss crazy pants is being interviewed in the hospital room.

Yes, I agree. I don't think that was any different from the book though.

Also, couldn't they have cleaned some of that blood off of her before the interview?
