ok that's cool- let's quit beating around the bush.  was it better or worse than peter finch's performance in Network?
oh did i mention, who the eff is peter finch?  Network, ever hear of it before just now?
the academy loved Network in 1976 which just proves that they are idiots. 

best actor (there were actually 2 nominated from Network, what a joke- Finch even beat out De Niro from taxi driver)

best supporting actress
best screenplay (better than rocky? are you serious?)

in total, Network received 10 noms that year.  gg's academy, good f'n game.
