Watched Snowpiercer the other night.  Pretty entertaining though didn't live up to my expectations.

 :star: :star: :star: :raccoon:

Snowpiercer = Hunger Games set on the Polar Express.

It was cool-looking, well-made, and entertaining.  The acting, action, and pacing were all strong.  It also ranks among the silliest, least logical, and most inane movies ever created.  Really disappointed after critical reviews almost uniformly deemed it an "intelligent" film.  Apparently critics felt smug satisfaction at deciphering the third-grade metaphor for social stratification.  It's a pretty good movie if you don't think about anything that's happening in it.

Critics definitely overrate it.

I don't have a problem suspending disbelief for large portions of it as I expected to some with the premise.  The problem comes from critics trying to make it seem hyper-intelligent and then also asking you to suspend disbelief.

never heard of this but now i want to watch it. who maintains the train tracks? are there train tracks? why a train? is it to try to stay in daylight or something?

As mentioned before, if you start trying to wrap your head around all of the logical flaws, you won't enjoy. Also I didn't have subtitles for door hacker guy, what did he say? :dunno:

He wanted to go outside. Snow was melting and his Eskimo ass could handle it.

Just watched Pitch Perfect for the first time yesterday.  It was one of the worst things I've ever seen.  I'm beginning to lose my faith in rottentomatoes.

You just weren't ready for it's themes.  Someday you'll be ready _33, but right now it is just Pitch Terrible to you.

Easily the best Stiller movie since Tropic Thunder. I had kind of given up on him the same way I have given up on Adam Sandler.

Saw "Wish I Was Here".  I enjoyed it.  It was a little sappy and tried too hard to be philosophical, but I thought the humor was solid.

Much truth. I watch a lot of old-timey westerns by myself. Total vegging time.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Watched The Wolverine this weekend. The chick with red hair had a weird looking face.
It was very predictable, but Hugh Jackman .

watched Stop or My Mom Will Shoot feat Sly Stallone.  a highly under rated family comedy that asks and answers some of the tougher questions of the times

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

I saw that Heat is on HBOgo so I'm about to watch that. It's been so long since I've seen it that I remember nothing. I'm expecting it's going to kick a lot of ass seeing as Val Kilmer is in it.

I watched Apocalypse Now (Redux) in its entirety last night for the first time. So it is probably one of my favorite movies. I was absolutely floored, even with all the hype and jerking off it has received for the last 35 years. Just amazing.
