Bill Self's best teams had benches full of 4 star/5 star kids. Some had to wait a year or 3 for their turn .

Can't do that anymore.

Both teams are significantly shittier than I thought at the time, but I knew KU was really rough ridin' overrated. Rylen Griffin and Zeke Mayo were going to make them go from a barely .500 team in conference to a final four contender? lol. The Self being washed thing was just a simple matter of looking at what's right in front of our faces, they are now 13-11 in conference games played in the last two seasons. I appreciate and understand ChiCat being deferential to Bill Self, but the sample size is plenty big enough to see that they are what they are.
