Statements made during (or in contemplation of) litigation are immune from defamation liability (I assume this is true in most places). Rudy could argue that his statements were made in contemplation of litigation, especially if he asserts a claim against Dominion. He just needs a plaintiff with standing...He can't go looking for a plaintiff and then claim what he said last month in a presser was IAOL. I mean I guess he could try but LOL

The whole "not president anymore" defense is moronic. If our system didn't allow for that, the last month (plus) of every presidency would look like a coke fueled crimefest because Congress wouldn't be able to act quick enough to impeach.
