They literally slow rolled allegations of a likely presidential pick, but now Trump says he likes Tik Tok, so..... "we must act immediately!!!!!!!". It sucks so bad that we allowed the SC to become a bunch of partisan fuckwads. and yes Dax, I would 100% be saying the same thing if the D's had majority. I don't believe in lifetime appointments, but i'm not even sure ending that would fix things. I don't know what the fix even is. Maybe just let it be partisan but require an even split or something so someone has to break the tie??? No idea. Humans have shown that we will rough ridin' sell out everyone for a few bucks, constitution, morals, etc. be damned, so I'm not sure any of it matters at this point.
