Coach Tru was a big improvement over Dawson & I liked Dawson. One of the most impressive things about Klieman is his constant tweaking of the staff to make improvements

When he started he was 49 and turned 50 on 10/07/1989. My bad math, was due to watching a promotional clip of him becoming HC of KSU which said he was 51.

Wikipedia lists 29 pre-Snyder head coaches. Too lazy to see where the discrepancies are.

Jim Dickey quit 2 games into his final season. Lee Moon was interim head coach. For some reason he is not counted in the total. That would be the 30th head coach prior to Snyder.
