There were three other interviews that went well and terms have been...negotiated is the wrong term...discussed in a formal way. So he could be prepared to present an alternative in the same meeting.

MichCat picked up the torch from j rake who made a good case even though he never really wanted Kleiman either. I’m warming to the idea as well, especially after realizing my three biggest reservations shouldn’t even be relevant considerations: (1) bad overall look, (2) Bohl failed, and (3) no one else really wants him.

It's like when you get involved in one of those gift exchanges where people steal gifts and one person brings lottery tickets. Everyone knows that the lottery tickets are going to be worth maybe $1 or $2 at best, but they still get stolen on the remote possibility that they are winners because the other gifts are all crappy enough that it doesn't really matter if you go home empty handed.

It won't happen, but would be cool if Brown was HC and Klieman was DC since the wife of Brown's current DC (Vic Koenning) supposedly won't live outside of the south. Klieman could still probably double his salary in this scenario.
