I can't keep up with the news, banter, etc.  Do I have this recap correct:

Venables:  We offered him a crap ton of money (per blackcats) and he said no.


LittreLL:  After our dream boat rejected us, we moved on to LittreLL and basically had everything wrapped up and he decided to throw us under the bus at the last minute (per PETE), waste several weeks of our coaching search and make comments about being happy at UNT who he will dump for someone else probably soon -- Classic Sooner FWIW


After those two public messes, we are now down to the following options:
1) Praying that Venables has a change of heart - Odds of about 0.5%
2) Considering the Memphis coach Norvell - Odds of about 14.5%
3) Considering Leavitt and Kleinman - Odds of about 75%
4) Panicking with backup plans of Wolford, Sean and who knows what - Odds of about 10%

I am grateful that I have no specific recollections of beating teams at or around K-State’s level.  I mean, I know we have many, but there are no “woohoo” moments that I frequently think about or mention.

I’d hate for that to be “tops.”

Thanks.  I believe I saw here or elsewhere that Taylor met with Leavitt a long time ago, but apparently had moved on.  I am not sure if Leavitt comes back into play.

Truthfully, I can't see a massive difference between Mike Norvell, Neal Brown and Seth LittreLL.  However, I think perception is everything... KSU fans seemed to rally behind LittreLL after Venables said 'no' and now we all have egg in our face.  Even if we landed Norvell or Brown it seems like it will be hard to regain the positive perception.
