I don't know if it was weird but it's definitely inconsistent given they have New York, Boston, Miami, Dallas, and San Francisco on there and there won't be a solitary match played in any of those cities.

I've never been to a world cup match but I have been to an international sporting event and one thing that's evident is that pretty much every country in the world cares about sports more than we do here. The passion in which these people cheer for the teams they care about is wild to see.

Besides, BHAM has already hosted WC matches. It’s good to see lil ol KC be invited to the big leagues.

BHAM can’t hog all the international stuff.

WC Qualifier in Arrowhead opened my eyes to soccer. I was floored by the passion. There were smoke bombs / flares in the stadium. Wild.
