i'm assuming this has already been covered but if not, angry republicans are seriously angrily protesting the fact that florida is attempting to count all their votes. 100 people standing around chanting "lock her up" in Lauderhill (which btw is home to the best Jamaican food in the us). go eat some jerk and rice and peas instead and just chill you guys.

Snipes, who has held her office since 2003, is no stranger to controversy. Earlier this year, Scott's administration said it was monitoring her office after a judge ruled in May the county broke federal law by destroying ballots in Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz's 2016 Democratic primary race against Tim Canova, Politico reported.

How is destroying ballots not a fireable/recallable offense for an election commissioner?  Oh wait, wait, she's a Dem in a county where 2/3's of the affiliated voters are Dems.  Never-mind.

This woman is either corrupt or incompetent, or both

Quote
Snipes is also the subject of a lawsuit, filed in August by the American Civil Rights Union before the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, which questions Snipes' handling of potentially ineligible voters.

Broward was also criticized this year for the design of the ballot. The Senate race was displayed on the bottom left corner, below the instructions. Some 24,000 cast a vote for governor, displayed at the top of the ballot, but not Senate, according to the Orlando Sentinel

But yeah, accusations of fraud are a "lie"

Totally not suspicious, particularly since those votes are required by law to be counted by 7pm on Tuesday

Quote
"On election night, Broward County said there were 634,000 votes cast. At 1 a.m. today, there were 695,700 ballots cast on election day. At 2:30 p.m. today, the number was up to 707,223 ballots cast on Election Day. And we just learned that the number has increased to 712,840 ballots cast on Election Day.

Miraculously, the counties hit by a cat4 hurricane didn't have problems complying

Great question. Sometimes they even let you continue to be the secretary of state for another full year, and bonus: you get to oversee your own gubernatorial election.

Haha. eff off, bad person.

“These people aren’t going to vote for Democrats,” Rohrabacher said, strolling along the water on the way to his house. “A lot of Republican women voted for Hillary. That is not going to translate into anything else next year. Trump is a very boisterous guy, and that was a turnoff for some people, but these are Reagan-type conservatives.”
