The implication is quite clear that trying to get along with a government is "green lighting" all of their mis-deeds, which is bullshit and you know it.

I also appreciate how she completely glossed over things like Yemen, when it was your guy who either emboldened the Saudi's to move on Yemen, but also emboldened and likely (quite literally green lighted) the Saudi's being one of the launch points for them move on Assad.

I agree Dax, we have let the Saudis do basically whatever they want going back to at least the 90’s. It’s just now it’s much harder to even fake the moral high ground. Prior to twitter none of us would have known any of this and the initial story would have been bought by the masses.

If I'm understanding dax correctly, he is saying both that the US often "green lights" this sort of killing and also that Trump definitely did not "green light" this particular killing.
