There's a ketamine treatment center right by my place, thinking of trying it out. Anyone have experience?
I tried it before. The place I went all the dudes working with were super chill as eff. The rooms had a comfortable recliner, TV with visualizations, and a galaxy light projector on the ceiling. Hooked me up to an IV and blasted me off to space. I’ve never done other psychedelics so can’t compare, but I’d describe it as it taking me on a wild ride. It’s a must to listen to some music, I didn’t know what to pick so my friend who’s experienced with it just found some random relaxing spa
on YouTube, but it sounded so profound, and it was working with the galaxy lights and taking me places. At one point it felt like I was on a spaceship, and then later the room all turned organic, I don’t know how to explain it. Was never scared although at times I was so far from normal reality I wondered how I was going to get back. I knew I just had to let go.
I can’t say it helped me do any inner work or anything. Supposedly that’s not even necessary to consciously use it as therapy, the chemical alone especially alongside with antidepressants is really good for depression and anxiety, but they say it needs to be done often for a few weeks. There really wasn’t much therapy to it, the dudes working there was just asking me about my trip and giggling lol.
