I mean, if you toggle to percent of income you get some kooky results. Even Clinton voters (smart adults who understand how the world works) didn't seem to have a good sense of how dollars spent relates to percent of income.

i think it's safe to say we aren't going to be moving to a single payer hc system or adopting any of the other big progressive welfare state projects anytime soon.

The only way to fix the specific problem that Bernie is pointing at in this instance is to get rid of 401(k) and force employers to pay into pensions.
