someone on twitter pointed out to me that despite her rhetoric, her voting record is much more moderate. she's only been there a couple of years, so that might be an artifact of a small sample of cross-motivating bills, but assuming it's real, i dunno if that makes it better or worse.

That is about as far a guy like him in his position can go. Realistically it's the logical conclusion to trying to remove the church from absolutely vilifying homosexuals since Paul stepped up and filled in gaps where Jesus said nothing about 2000 years ago.
