Lol. It's very hard for me to take that Post article seriously. She is one of the most honest and forthright persons I've ever met. Did she have a relationship (as an adult) with a professor/mentor? I guess it's possible. I never heard of her hooking up with anyone in law school. This kinda seems like a hit piece and a gross invasion into her private life, even if true. What exactly is she being accused of, other than being gaslighted by an older man? She literally says, "You were my first and only," according to the allegations. Just another reminder why I could never run for office.

if we're being completely honest with ourselves...one's ability to make a sex is really a cornerstone for anyone wanting to participate in politics (basing this off TV shows like The Wire, Scandal, House of Cards, etc. which, as far as i'm concerned, are accurate depictions of the seedy underbelly of american politics)

I don't think anyone would make that sort of statement if she were 17. And it's pretty much the same thing.

Yeah, she is kind of a weird, awkward, but kind-hearted and funny girl. She also had a pretty rough upbringing, which I won't go into. Is it surprising that a 40+ year-old teacher/mentor could manipulate her into taking her virginity and then maintaining the emotional relationship? She's a very good person. Source: me.

It’s not so much about him crushing pelts (he does) but the fact that he sends (apparently discoverable) emails about it afterward

my feelings are that most of the commentary for investors about having restraint and not flooding the market is complete bullshit. yes, investors are leery about companies pursuing growth, because they've been losing money for the last seven years and they're rough ridin' tired of it, and companies are somewhat responsive to that.  but oil companies aren't going to leave $100 oil on the table because they think their little 30k barrels/day west texas play is going to crash the market.  never have, never will...
