I remember when I said that pharma would make billions from this vaccine and dickhead, kim carnes, told me I was stupid. Have you been right about anything ever? I remember when you didn't give opinions, I understand why.

Anyway, very rough ridin' obviously these dudes shouldn't be derided for making so much money from saving lives. This is exactly how it should work, make the governments pay for these meds. Pharma bros should be held accountable when they needlessly jack up costs for lifesaving meds for private citizens, but the US government are much more at fault for letting it's citizens get ripped off.

Bear in mind this doesn't account for money the pharmaceuticals received on the front end from governments, $22 billion from warp speed, I don't know how much they got from European and Asian countries and I'm not going to look it up. It doesn't account for Pfizer stock increasing 12% either. With how few people worldwide are vaccinated and how many boosters are needed and will continue to be needed, I wouldn't bet against this number reaching a trillion.

Someone much smarter than Phil said yesterday the other vaccines, particularly the J&J vaccine will be easier to produce and speed of ramping of production will be vastly easier than Pfizer.

That's awesome.  Hopefully their trials are successful!  More chips the better.

I've never been against getting in early on all these vaccines.  Nobody thinks we should have put all our eggs in one basket.

No, but hyperpartisans like you keep insisting that the Federal Government invest hundreds of billions of dollars in additional funds to buy the most logistically troublesome and manufacturing intense vaccine out of the lot.   

As I've said, there's a reason other countries are buying a very nominal amount of the Pfizer vaccine, like Canada for example.
