I fully understand that we live in a world that would never allow for justice to knock at the doors of our most powerful people, nor do the majority of Americans even care about the horrors that our empire has visited upon the world. Hell, most won’t even complain about the boot on our own necks so why would I expect that we would stand up for others?

So I am being a bit ridiculous in one sense, but I do hope for a future United States that can unmake its empire before others do it for us.
