Kind of like freaks who go on cruises. there is a cat in our office who goes on cruises every year and always MEETS SOME NEW FREAK SHOW FAMILY THAT THEY BECOME BESTIES WITH AND THEY GO VISIT AND STAY AT EACH OTHERS HOUSES AND XMAS CARDS

I hate being forced into awkward social settings to get to know people. Her coworker must have talked to her about this. Like when her friends are dating a new guy and they wanna go hangout somewhere to make sure I get along with the dude. Like, stop trying to force a bromance. That guys totally pud. That new job is bad for her. All these new ideas on things.

That's exactly what it is. The biggest market for these things are people who worked at camp and this gives them an opportunity to go back with their friends as campers instead of counselors. I have been asked to host one of these and I have no interest in doing so. I would have attended one a decade ago but my summers are a little busy. Now, like many of you who are saying no thanks, I'm a bit old to be spending a week or weekend with a bunch of drunk, horny, twentysomethings.
