A decent number of teenagers who only remember living in America and speak only English have been contingency planning the last few years what they will do when they get deported.

Of course I've learned.  I stand firm that the policies of the president have little impact but I will concede that I underestimated the overwhelming response of the emotionally unstable masses on both sides and Trumps willingness to instigate and inflame.  From now on that response must be considered on election day.

Yes catastrophe, it was obviously trump's rhetoric that caused a complete federal failure with covid and not his policy of actively doing absolutely nothing.

I haven't seen national numbers if there are any, but locally there were a lot more ICE raids.

Those were all in response to your question about how Trump’s policies affected people’s lives.

i dunno its kinda weird...like if you would have told me 7 years ago (like far enough back that Trump's name was not circulating as a presidential candidate) that the following would sentence would be accurate:

The year is 2021. The mob that stormed the capitol failed in changing the outcome of the election. 5 dead, including one guy who had a heart attack after tazing his own sack. The My Pillow guy is meeting with the president in the white house to present definitive proof that the election was stolen.

I think even I would have been like "wait wut?"

The way that this last administration has most greatly impacted my daily life is now i realize how many people i know (sadly this includes friends and family) get their news and facts from like, shitpost memes on facebook.

That one guy tazed his nuts off trying to carry out Trump’s demands and his family will have to deny it to their dying breath.

Yeah, this dude's friend to death sack is completely on trump's head

Organized white supremacy and anti-semitism have unquestionably increased as a direct result of the trump presidency, that's a statement of verified fact. So while I have more money than I've ever had, I have significantly less peace of mind. I addressed this exact thing two years ago, possibly in this very thread, it's gotten worse, not better.
