Any chance Eli Walker can play the NB position?

I think they are pretty happy with Neil. Walker got torched several times last year. I don't think he has the coverage skills to play the nickle.

Yeah, I remember him getting burned several times as well... I hope we can find some way to use his talents.  Glad to see Hughes is back, he could help as well.

Kansas State head coach Chris Klieman noted that redshirt senior WR Dalton Gruntley has been the "most impressive offensive player" during spring practices.

Between Gruntley, Rison , knowles, and Zuber we should be pretty good at WR

Haven’t heard any mention of him this spring :frown:

It will be interesting to see how the staff tweaks their offense.  I get the feeling that a run heavy scheme is not suited for our current roster.  If Skylar and the receivers are really stepping up it may help hide our lack of depth at running back.

Gruntley had some maddening drops early last season, can't remember if he did much towards the end (which probably means he didn't have as many). Hopefully Klieman's comments are because he's gotten good and not that everyone sucks.
I once blew clove smoke in a guy's face that cut in front of me in the line to KJ's.

What is The Meadowlark’s basis for comparison overall, I wonder?

I didn't actually read the article. The blurb I posted was all that I saw from the article.
