for the record, if additional serious and incontrovertible accusations do surface before biden is nominated, i do think the democrats would replace him and the electoral consequence would be somewhere between damaging and disastrous.

Your qualification is doing a lot of heavy lifting here. Does any Trump accusation of a sexual assault meet this standard?

As for the legitimacy question, I kind of doubt that will be much of a concern in a scenario where they are actually looking at doing this.

I think I see the point you're getting at. So let me say, it's different for Democrats.

That’s true enough, but as long is we are in total speculative hypothetical land it is pretty easy to tweak the parameters enough to get the result you are arguing for.

I bet a non-trivial amount of money that joe Biden is better than 81% to be the nominee, it went down and I bet more, so I’m very unconvinced that there is anything standing in his way, and since we are adding in variables, the complete and total lack of any campaign and the likely extreme focus on coronavirus for the foreseeable future is a pretty big argument in my favor. But Biden was a shitty candidate and his very public and repeated sexual harassment of women was a completely foreseeable problem.

Had already been reported before the Reade accusation was made public, again.

My gawd, that old man is literally going to have the worst of the absolute worst controlling him every step of the way, and there's no way Jill is going to be able to stop them.

So look out poor 3rd world countries, drones and F-15's are headed your way by this time next year.

So are you saying you think Biden is going to win?

If this idiot would have thrown down $130 grand he wouldn't have this problem.  If he would play his cards right, he could blame this all on Barry.

I found an actual MAGA Berner in the wild today. It was a bigger old woman in a van, her van had three stickers on it; left side said "I kneel for the fallen and stand for the flag," right side said "I'm a child not a choice," in the middle was a huge "Billionaires can't buy Bernie" sticker. I wanted to ask some questions but I definitely got "I'll call the police" vibes.

Former presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg has signed with CAA and Brillstein Entertainment Partners, which will work with him to amplify his series of public policy initiatives.

CAA and Brillstein represented Buttigieg in the deal for his next book, Trust: America’s Best Chance, which he announced on Wednesday. It will be published by Liveright Publishing on Oct. 6.

After his presidential campaign, Buttigieg formed a group called Win the Era, focusing on supporting and endorsing down ballot candidates and the next generation of leaders, with some emphasis on contenders in typically conservative areas.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Was just about to post this. This is what really gets under my skin. That twitter dude just saw a headline with “entertainment partners” in it and was like “got his ass.” And I’m sure most other people seeing the tweet made the mistake assuming twitter lady read it.

It was much more fun when we all loved to goof on Buttigieg without worrying about giving him the benefit of the doubt.  :frown:

Bill Clinton praises Jim Clyburn for helping the canal destroy Bernie Sanders’ presidential run. These people are evil.

Democrat praises fellow Democrat for destroying non-Democrat’s presidential run who was trying to co-opt Democratic Party for his own purposes. What exactly is evil about that?
