Fun to imagine how Bernie people would react if Bernie had a plurality of delegates and then didn't get the nomination.

So no joke, the city council guy in that cartoon looks exactly like the actual Seattle city council guy in this video. Also, enjoy the first class kookery (especially the song at about 10mins, but it’s all amazing).

Lmao, that's legit amazing and everyone should watch starting at 10 mins.

My favorite part is how the councilmen talk like kindergarten teachers to the people stepping to the podium.
it’s not like I’m tired of WINNING, but dude, let me catch my breath.

I'm guessing the guy with the Seahawks t-shirt just picked that up at a thrift store, and doesn't actually attend games at a massive hole in the sky, err, stadium and parking lot complex.

One thing that has been difficult about this election is talking about Bernie with my mom who thinks I hate her now because she (like Bernie) is a retiree with over $1 million in assets.

Would the average board moderate have more in common politically with KSUW than with KK or MIR? I mean, yeah, it seems so.

With 2015 KSUW? Sure. Not with 2020 KSUW.

I don't think I've changed that much. I didn't like Trump in 2015 and I don't like him now. The only difference is that in 2015 I didn't think he could win and even if he did, I didn't think he would advance conservative causes. He proved me wrong. But I still think he's an idiot mcjerkface. I'm just pragmatic enough to support him despite my personal qualms. (And to be fair, I do enjoy the liberal hysteria). I could be wrong, but I think I'm pretty representative of a great many "MAGAs." But of course there's a difference between a bandwagon MAGA such as myself and the true, fullblown NASCAR MAGAs that got in on the groundfloor. I don't own a MAGA hat but am considering buying one for the troll factor.

There's absolutely no difference, in fact most MAGAs are white trolls with no stake in the harmful rhetoric and policy and also can't muster the empathy for those who are.

Exactly why I walk away from MAGA talk these days at family get togethers's. You can't change your 80 year old grandparents, but I also can't hear them speak their ignorance either. My grandma called me a someone who makes me uncomfortable for something simple about a month ago. I just can't...

none of them are ever going to drop out.

I was wrong to say that she should drop out, it was a reactionary, selfish, and illogical thought. I still don't think she's going to win, I think she will stay in third the entire way. She'll do much better when the liberal states get involved in this thing. She plays much better to liberal soccer moms than Bernie or Klo. If Bloomberg can force Buttigieg and or Klo out, it will benefit Liz.

It's catchy AF. I still find myself humming "somebody's makin' mo-neyyyy!"

And yes, the city council dude really steals the show in an understated way.

With how poorly he did at the debate I’m wondering if Bloomberg is making his run in lieu of donating to the Sanders or Warren campaigns.

Why would you think that? Unless I'm misreading what you're saying you think he's just going to throw away half a billion to a billion dollars?

I don’t actually think that, but it’s not insane either. It’s not throwing money away if Bloomberg actually wants Warren or Sanders elected. It would be like making a campaign contribution but avoiding the cap.

Even if he threw away $1 billion, Bloomberg would still have more money than he knew what to do with.

His ads are also mostly just anti-Trump so the message works regardless.

He doesn't attack Democratic candidates in the ads. Only Trump.

The other Dems are running out of money, all they'll have left is to continue to attack Bloomberg.

Bloomberg's strategy is interesting because I'm working off the assumption that he's not blowing a billion dollars without a good reason, but I can't really figure out his path. He's running for the nomination of a party that detests people like him. I guess maybe he's setting up an indepedent run, or maybe he's just trying to cut the legs out from under Sanders and Warren, or maybe both. I'd definitely favor an independent run because he's not going to meaningfully siphon Trump's votes.

Yeah, I get the sense that he just doesn't want Sanders or Warren, but then so far none of his ads mention them. They all go after Trump. That might change after that last debate, though. I think Liz pissed him off.

I don't discount the 3rd party path, but he isn't going to suddenly turn in to Ross Perot, he's incredibly unlikable so he isn't a threat to anyone even if he does drop $1 billion.
