I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

Would the average board moderate have more in common politically with KSUW than with KK or MIR? I mean, yeah, it seems so.

With 2015 KSUW? Sure. Not with 2020 KSUW.

I don't think I've changed that much. I didn't like Trump in 2015 and I don't like him now. The only difference is that in 2015 I didn't think he could win and even if he did, I didn't think he would advance conservative causes. He proved me wrong. But I still think he's an idiot mcjerkface. I'm just pragmatic enough to support him despite my personal qualms. (And to be fair, I do enjoy the liberal hysteria). I could be wrong, but I think I'm pretty representative of a great many "MAGAs." But of course there's a difference between a bandwagon MAGA such as myself and the true, fullblown NASCAR MAGAs that got in on the groundfloor. I don't own a MAGA hat but am considering buying one for the troll factor.

I don't think you would have supported a $1 trillion+ deficit before Trump.

Yeah. The most involved I have ever been outside of voting is allowing somebody I personally know running for local office to put one of his signs in my yard.

yeah, if a friend runs for something local, i would let them have at my yard.  maybe they guilt me into giving them some money and i give in to get them off my back, but think i might unfriend them irl before it came to that

I don't think i'm going to vote anymore until I really like a candidate. I've really tried hard the last 6 months to remove myself from all things politics and I've felt great these days. Obviously, it's hard to do, but it's improved my way of life for sure.

I wonder what happens to all that campaign money when a candidate quits before going broke.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

I doubt I ever really like a candidate at any point the rest of my life. I’ll almost certainly be voting against the person I dislike the most.

i know this (the scale, not the exact number) isn't new information, but just seeing his numbers next to everyone else's is just striking.

I wonder what happens to all that campaign money when a candidate quits before going broke.

there are some expenses that have to (or can be) paid after a campaign is suspended - especially refunds and salaries.  beyond that, the candidate can donate the money to a political group or a charity, just keep it sitting there or transfer it to another campaign (not someone else's, some future campaign of their own).

So no joke, the city council guy in that cartoon looks exactly like the actual Seattle city council guy in this video. Also, enjoy the first class kookery (especially the song at about 10mins, but it’s all amazing).
