It's an old story. Not sure why Sys is clutching his pearls over it, besides his blinding white hatred for Buttigieg.
It's because he views black people as more than objects of entertainment and some people actually find systematic racism objectionable.
I did not read the root article because I'm already familiar with the fact that Pete had major donors who used racial slurs when discussing firing this man simply because he was black. I'm also familiar with the fact that Pete actively covered up recorded evidence of this.
What's crazy is that by the accounts of people who are familiar with the evidence, Pete has legitimate plausible deniability, as the plan was in place to have these guys force the chief out before Pete even had a South Bend campaign. His trouble came with his unwillingness to provide transparency with what happened. Sound familiar?
