Do you mean Chris Wallace or did I wake up in some sort of bizarro world alternate dimension?

1st was that his numbers were poor, 2nd was that his number was middling good, but worse than bernie's 24 hr numbers so he was going to wait and report a 72 or 96 hr number that beat bernie's 24 hr number, 3rd was that he's just weird and his senate campaign was weird and apparently also refused to comment on numbers and then released huge numbers in FEC filings.

i'm back to half-believing #2, but more based on some money guy's theory of how to squeeze the most money out of donors than as a pr thing.  i'm on beto's fundraising list.  i got like 4 emails and a text asking for money on day 1.  nothing on days 2 & 3 and now have gotten one email begging for money today.
oh, sacred cow i thirst for you, provide milk.

really good number for sanders.  this is the third straight poll (that i've seen) with better numbers for warren too.  suggests her apparent swoon a couple weeks back was probably random polling error.

There is no rough ridin' way Beto is raising $6 million his first week.

People are looking at his big donor list on ActBlue and how he can leverage that in to big fundraisng numbers and forgetting the fact that a bunch of people wanted him to beat TED rough ridin' CRUZ IN TEXAS FOR A SENATE SEAT! NONE OF THOSE PEOPLE CARE ABOUT HIM ANY MORE!

sys' weird idea that losing a senate/governor race in a red state is a good launch point for a dem presidential campaign is going to be the funniest part of 2020 election.

I would vote for Pete. I like the fact that he highlighted Millennial as a reason to vote for him.

obviously that's true.  but having a list is better than not.  and dems are throwing money everywhere this year.  hickenlooper and inslee raised over a million each, iirc.

If all of gE could get behind Pete and take the fight to Twitter, we could probably swing this election to TeamPete.

#3 might end up the most accurate.  we'll find out eventually.

well, i find it very difficult to believe that beto was outraised by hickenlooper, inslee and klobuchar.  which makes it difficult to believe in the hypothesis that he hasn't released his numbers because they'd foster a poor narrative.

if he released numbers in the range of harris, election nerds would look askance, but it wouldn't get any negative attention otherwise.  not releasing makes it a bigger story.

Never having a Gen X president would be the most Gen X thing ever.

Beto, BTW, is doing a pretty good job of being the representation of a stereotypical Gen X candidate.
