really interesting (long) article on beto's senate campaign. as the article mentions, it's hard to see how the same strategy could be adapted to a primary campaign.

hiring three reid staffers - one as campaign manager, seems like he's giving away the strategy. win the early white states, forget about south carolina and try to tap into the reid machine to make nevada three wins out of the first four. seems pretty realistic, but how much that momentum would help him survive super tuesday isn't clear to me.

It would require a constitutional amendment, which will never happen because those small states that currently have all the power would have to concede that power to have the amendment ratified.
