pete is just positioned so perfectly. immediately jumping to the middle on a bunch of stuff was genius. he's our next president. we went from pedro on the real world to a gay male president in just 26 years. pretty amazing.

FWIW we've entered the stage where they're everywhere. I checked their Facebook pages for events nearly all of them are spending time in California. It's fundraising season, can't really do that here.

So for those who don't know, she's referring to Pete's campaign saying that his being gay is a barrier for him with black voters in South Carolina. Guess what, he's 100% correct. Homophobia among black people, especially evangelicals is a huge problem. That's not to say that literally every time he has a chance to reach black voters, he fucks it up, royally. He is the absolutely the wrong candidate to bring this up.

I'd also point out that Maxwell supported HRC while she was carrying hot sauce in her bag while visiting black southern churches. Take that for what it's worth.

bad news is that MIR is correct. good news is that president pete doesn't really need the southern African American evangelical vote to get elected. also, how long before they start using president pete? I mean I just had to think of it myself out of nowhere.

57% of Warren's supporters that are considering another candidate are considering Biden. This is true for the other top-tier candidates as well. Also, 88.4% of Warren's supporters are considering someone else while only 78.1% of Biden's are considering someone else.

it would have to be a very unusual election for someone to win the nomination without getting a very substantial share of black voters. like getting into brokered convention level of unusual.
