On the flip side, POS Dems attempted to insert ballot harvesting funding into the Pandemic stimulus plan.

It's pretty obvious why Useful Idiot Nation is pushing hard for mail in voting.

Because as MIT has stated, mail in voting presents the greatest opportunity for malfeasance.

If want to go mail in voting, fine.  If Trump wins, we might as well just go ahead and hit the launch the nukes button and call it good, because Tolerant Useful Idiot Nation is going to burn it all down.

It's very hard for pos pubs like daxags to consider maybe people who want to make it easier to vote want it to be easy for everyone, including other pos pubs.

Per usual POS Useful Idiots like LibDork.9 won't call out POS Useful Idiot Leaders like Pelosi and Schumer for holding up CV-19 Stimulus to insert bullshit provisions that are clearly intended to assist in ballot harvesting.

But POS Useful Idiots are going to POS Useful Idiot (See Also:  LibDork .9)

The dems just won a court seat in Wisconsin by a bigger margin than they likely would have if older pubs would have been able to vote from home.

If it's good enough for half of the white house staff, it should be good enough for the rest of the country.

Weekend voting. Mail-in voting. I don't understand the opposition to making it easier to vote.

Useful Idiot Nation:  Embracing Federalism when it fits our agenda
Accusing libs of suddenly wanting small government is maybe your best straw masterpiece so far.

The threat of the coronavirus is creating unprecedented demand for absentee ballots; many Republican lawmakers are responding by trying to limit access. There are laws on the books to help them in one regard. Currently, seven states permit only elderly voters to mail in their ballots: Indiana, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Texas grant this privilege to voters 65 and older; Tennessee extends it to those 60 and older; and Kentucky only bestows it upon voters of “advance age.” (None of these states have waived their age limit for the November election, though Indiana and Kentucky did so for their primaries.) Younger people who want to vote by mail must give a reason, such as a serious illness or absence from the state on Election Day. As New York magazine’s Ed Kilgore has noted, these laws effectively limit absentee voting to “Trump-approved groups,” older Americans who are much more likely to vote Republican.

even as a contingent of GOP lawmakers sought to block it because they believed it still featured too much access to mail-in ballots

Legislators voting by mail is the exact same thing as potentially millions of people voting by mail in a general election (Useful Idiot Nation)
