This is what March basketball looks like, two good team playing tough defensively but a bit tight on offense, no one is running their sets. The team that can get a couple of transition buckets late will win.

We forced 6 TOs
We got 14 DR in 15 chances (1 TCU OR).

Tremendous effort last 17 minutes

We need to do a better job with getting Dean the ball in the blocks. TCU did this great with Vlad. They were for all intents and purposes face guarding Dean when he was on the wing, where he spent the entire second half. Whoever we have in the first round will have to see that when they're preparing the scout.

same thing happened last time we played tcu. i think he is still too skinny to bang down low.

That was the most I've enjoyed watching K-State hoops in a long time. Even though stretches of the game weren't exactly easy on the eyes. The way the team battled back was cool to watch.

pokes or hawks, k-state should be the favorite tomorrow. a quick check of wikipedia shows that K-State hasn't won a conference tourney in my lifetime. no time like the present to start.
