So did I, until he introduced himself to me at the bar when I was all up on the free beer at his "Batefest" OkCity before the BYU game.  Dude's name is Randy or something and he actually apparently is a dentist.  Great guy and gal.

I remember for one of the Saturday games last season (KU IIRC) I had to meet up with some friends at Kite's.  I grumbled about that venue divorcing me of my money, but then when I showed up everyone said there was some dentist from Great Bend or somewhere that rented out the outside and just to put the beers on him.  Sounds like same dude?  Details are kinda fuzzy.

Jesus, playing this out on the fracking Wabash Station is just so fracking Wabash Station.  Can you think of another fanbase in the Big 12 that would do something like this? 

Only one I can think of is Iowa State...Cyclonfanatic has a "prayer request" board...that's a little strange.

Half the threads on the Wabash Station are Prayer Requests.

Adam 0220 I was thinking about getting married in the next 2-3 years but your post alone made me really rethink this. I also love the other guys post about comparing his ex-wife to a hooker that lacks the courtesy to give you an "asking price" upfront. I guess I had a good mom so always give women the benefit of the doubt and trust them. I've found middle eastern and latin women to be more trustworthy than white women, however. My mom is white but with some mediterranean blood, she's a good woman and I'm sure everyone loves their mom on here.

What's the saying about "the scorn of a woman"????

BTW, my dad's wife is an angel, and is close to as good as a woman I know. Sadly, Bate still needs to get it DRILLED into his head he is about as lucky as he can possibly be.

There are more polite ways to ask for coverage than to ridicule me and
my colleagues for doing our jobs in covering Big 12 Media Days in Dallas. A
couple of your posts were simply unacceptable. Let us do our jobs. Thanks.

Yeah.  It just seemed to me like a big piece of news was just hanging out there with no confirmation from the biggest K-State sports site on the net.  If the sports were reversed no big piece of football news would be overlooked for obscure basketball related coverage.  I'm sorry my posts hurt your feelings, but did they even break any rules?

that. We don't need to put up with that crap. It's obvious you believe we do a
poor job so you should probably seek your K-State sports news elsewhere. I
