I never said "Group of Death." Everyone on ESPN is though. I still think this is a very tough draw, and I think Germany is the best team in the world. Don't really care what any rankings say.

It's in South America, I expect their teams to do well. Germany historically hasn't been good in South American world cups

Why can't we beat Germany?  Most games are like one to zero so if we can just get the one and hold them to zero we should win easily.  It's not like there are blowouts in soccer.  I predict this game will come right down to the wire.

i had a ghanian cabbie say the same crap to me back in august! then he told me he was a first generation american and that he was going to drive his oldest child to syracuse the next day for his first day of college. he was so proud, it also made me proud of america.

Germany will win the whole thing, I don't care if the tournament is on the international space station. They have been building for this for a decade, all of that young talent is now prime. They are the best team in the world; clinical and skilled.


Also I am not afraid of our group. eff Ghana, we were the better side they cashed in their chance in extra time crap happens, we're much better now, they're older.
