Have you ever viewed the surface of the moon thru a powerful telescope? The craters are incredible. It blows my mind to think of the impacts that formed them.

I can’t stand my new suburbanesque neighborhood, but our backyard does open up to a cornfield and the nighttime sky views from the back deck are freaking great. Opposite direction of this moon thing tho

Everyone needs to check out the conjunction of Venus and Jupiter in the western sky tonight. I went out around 8pm last night and thought someone was flying a giant drone. It is very striking and cool to see. I don't know how often it happens but I don't remember ever seeing anything like it.
