Two days ago, they weren't looking at bigs. Yesterday, the edict was a guard and a big.

Carry on...

does this mean they will oversign?   :excited:

but why a last second change?

Most likely because I bumped this thread.  Indisputable proof that the staff reads this board.   :users:
shut up.  the staff ignores this board.   :crossfingers:

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

sudden, overly optimistic thought:  did they decide to take a 2011 big because they decided to take a 2012 wing (graham)?

Are we officially oversigned?

11-12 (shortness to tallness)
Myles
Irving
Peterson
Spradling
Russell
McGruder
Lawrence
Williams
Southwell
Samuels
Gipson
Judge
Asprilla
Diaz
Henriquez

It's reasonable to think that all 15 of these guys think they will be on scholarship next year, and that we are still recruiting guards for '11

This is a good thread, and that is an interesting list.  I wonder if the staff is going to let Lawrence/Peterson battle for one ship and plan on "normal" attrition/running a player off for the other.

"gut feel":

A) D-Pete still doesn't make it
&
B) At least one of the Canadian, Irving, Lawrence will get run or not get put on scholly

IRregardless of anything else happening scenario A is a definite probability.  dPete & college are not meant for each other.  not that there's anything wrong with that.

Both pretty safe, especially A.  I will be pretty shocked if I see D-Pete suit up for a game.

yes, officially oversigned.  i'd be amazed if they sign a guard this fall too.  best we can hope for is talking one into waiting till the spring.

There is a good possibility Gary Patterson is my biological father.

I base it on the fact that at my cousins graduation (Shawnee Mission South) they were all "Will is soooo smart, come get an award." Then I stood up and was all "EEEEEMMMMAAAAAWWWW" Then the ushers asked me to leave cause I was ruining graduation for people.

I was going to say CK cause I hear he's pretty smart too, but I don't want him to be worrying about grades. He's got basketball to focus on.
