Bill is past done. This team has talent. Inexcusable

He was done halfway through 2013, but won't leave.

Losing close games sucks. The program is far from falling apart, but the results aren't matching the expectations given returning QB, etc. I understand the frustration fun fans though, but I'm not going to meltdown.

this thread was so predictable. state just went two ot's with texas on their turf. did so with a wounded qb starter. and it's time to demean LHC Bill Snyder because he's 78.

you turds doing that won't accomplish crap by comparison to what LHC Bill Snyder has done in his career here at k-state. you're just weak children, cowering behind pc names calling for the termination of a legend. my god!

fans are so fickle. it's makes my ass tired. emaw that, dudes!

The funny thing is that after seeing all the Big 12 craziness already, I'm still 75% sure we beat TCU this week.

We have talented D-backs who can make plays when given the chance. Don't understand the give-up-first-down cushion defense until the red zone.
Its because they need the cushion or they would get torched deep by WRs with a modicum of ability + speed.   This has played out every year for like the past decade.

I don't mean to sound like a dick but what in the world are you basing this on? How often have you seen these guys in person? DJamer Reed is one of the fastest players in the conference, he doesn't get thrown on much, but when he does, he's more than proven his closing speed. Enough people have called him the one of if not the best corner in the conference that at some point I'd think a novice at evaluating talent would believe them.

I know consistently trashing the players helps fit your consistent narrative but maybe, for the sake of something, could you find something, anything, our players are at least decent at?

I was talking to Canary about this at the Baylor game. Why did we stop bump and run coverage and having guys on an island? Dyshod Carter was one of my favorites.

Because our coordinators are rough ridin’ morons.  Tom Hayes won’t change his game plan, keeps it the same whether it’s vs. Texas Tech or Navy.  We always play the bend don’t break bs.  And Dimel couldn’t call a game if his life depended on it.  I thought Dino Babers running Trung Candidate on toss sweeps to the short side of the field for Arizona back in 98’ was bad.  We call sweeps with a FB to the short side of the field.  Still waiting for Dimel and Snyder to open up that playbook they always talk about.  Until then, it’s tecmo bowl up & A, left & B bullshit all day long.

Former K State assistant coach Bret Bielema will
be available this offseason.
Before you reply with he sucks let me explain the situation.
Bielema inherited an Arkansas team very much like Danny Ford did in the 90's
Ford was post UT/SWC rivalry
Bielema was post LSU rivalry.

Arkansas needs that school to hate and because LSU wanted to play Aggy on Thanksgiving it left the Piggies without a team to hate.
Arkansas without a team to hate is lost.

Danny Ford was a NC coach and Bielema out coached him.
If you factor in that the UT rivalry meant much more than they are about even.

Unlike Danny Ford in the 90's Bret Bielema wants to coach still.
I think a proven winner who wants to prove he can win again would be perfect at K State
Not to mention he has coached there before

Old and outdated.

Let’s run the worst 2 minute offense in the history of football. Oh, wait, we have never been able to run that under Snyder/ dimel

I want someone that brings a creativity on offense and quits running 1000 QB draws

The two minute offense thing is a really good point. When was the last time we executed it to win or tie a game?

i know exactly when it was. http://www.espn.com/college-football/game?gameId=333202306. waters lead a drive and cantele hit the game-winner and like broke his rough ridin' hand on the turf celebrating. was awesome. and stunning. bc we never do that crap.

The funny things is, throughout the early years of Snyder 1.0.

With a rare exception.   K-State were masters of the 2  minute offense, matriculating the ball down the field using side line routes etc. etc.

It may not have always worked out, but the team took the field with a plan in mind and worked to execute that plan.

He is finished in Fayetteville.
He may be one of five coaches fired in the SEC during the season or after.
