so, like, you just sit there working and junk but in your mind you're either doing sex or base jumping or whatever?

I daydream at normal daydreaming times.

I kinda thought daydreaming was just a movie thing. Do other people daydream too?

Not anymore. I'm usually binging on something in the background these days. Today it's some show called "The Society". What a world.

I don't. I think about when I have to mow next, etc.

I've had 4 tornado warnings pushed to my phone in the last 48 hours. My first instinct is no longer to go outside.  It's now to take shelter and worry about my roof.
I got a guy on the other line about some white walls

I do it all the time. Just stare off into space for 20 minutes or so thinking about what I'd rather be doing. It can get awkward when people catch you doing it at parties. They think you are staring at them or somebody else, but no, you are just staring off into space, really. And you can't tell them what you were really doing because then they would know you'd rather be doing something else.

Sometimes fishing. Sometimes chilling on a beach or climbing a mountain or something. And it is therapeutic. I almost always feel refreshed when I snap out of it.

I sometimes think about things staring off into space how you describe, but that isn't how I would classify my daydreamin.  When I for real go into a daydream, it is an actual dream while I'm awake.  It is like a really lucid dream where it appears real and I have some limited control over the direction of the dream.  My eyes will be closed, but I'm awake(if someone is walking around or talking in real life I can hear them and am partially aware of my surroundings)  I definitely feel refreshed when I snap out of mine.  Almost like I actually slept for a bit.  Used to happen in college all the time.  If I had my mind right I could close my eyes and go into it, open my eyes and it is mostly gone, but could get back to where I left off if I closed them again.  And sometimes the "dreams" are nothing more than images coming in and out(almost like short video clips) or morphing from one thing to another(beautiful girl morphing into a demon for instance)  Really weird.  Honestly though, can't remember the last time it happened.  It's been a while.

I was in the gym and this younger guy I know was like, "DUUUDE! Check these ooout! New earbuds!" He pulled out this little, high tech case and, as he opened it, I hear a faint hissing sound like the case is pressurized or something. I was like, "Dude! What was that!? The case?" He just keeps on with showing me the earbuds and telling me how awesome they are. And I'm just totally flummoxed by the source of the noise. I can't figure out if it was the case or a noise he made with his mouth. And I can't see anything because I'm not wearing my stupid rough ridin' old person trifocals. I'm just standing there, like an outdated, confused, helpless old man. So, I interrupt, "Was that noise from the case or your mouth???" He says, "Oh, my mouth. And they're waterproof so I can wear them in the shower and ..."

I'm in a weekly bowling league that I take fairly seriously and I currently hold the second highest average.
