Sitting in the NEZ I can very easily hear it and it was stupid last week and starting to piss me off this week.

Idk why (apparently it started with the band?) but a few scattered students have been adding a "yaaa" after "faithful to our colors" and it sounds terrrrrible.

Hope the ones that aren't doing it start telling their fellow students to stop ruining the end of the song.

if there's one thing we've learned from students, it's that they are pretty dumb and will continue doing really dumb things that look and sounds really dumb (fku, wabash air punch, WC hand signal frantically back and forth that looks like they are performing.... (blame that last one on the band tho)).

When I was a dumb (probably drunk) underclass undergrad I used to love shouting "Drink more beer!" after "faithful to our colors we shall ever be" and it usually got some good laughs from the fans around me in ICAT. <- proof that underclassmen are dumb

As I got older/wiser I realized it was idiotic and stopped. <-hoping that is proof that these weird new trends won't stick
