My point is it wouldn't really be based on logic. Fans will see Leach having the success they want and they'll think they should be able to get another coach at least that good since they had one before.

That is vintage Mike Leach, but it makes me sad he did not mention BSFS.

To be fair, their wasn't many chances for the Bill to be loud vs Leach. We scraped out a win in 2000, then Tech won the final 5 games vs us with Leach as coach. Most were blow outs.

Also, it doesn't surprise me that Oregon is the loudest in the Pac 12, I think you can auto disqualify all 4 Cal based teams, OSU can be out for now since they aren't good. I could see the Arizona schools being loud if they are good but to a point.

Really, I get a strong feeling most Pac football fans aren't as rabid and numerous as other conferences.
