eff my life. I have 27 PAGES of transactions to go through and I still have $8k of missing Bitcoin to account for. Taxes are so dumb on this crap.

It was a much simpler time when we could run on foreign exchanges and run trading bots.

I still maintain it would be better if they were regulated. I understand why most crypto wouldn’t be, though, since the value is totally independent of any business activity.

It should be regulated, just not by the SEC.  Every other modern country already regulates it with the equivalent of our CFTC.

You’ll be breakeven on that position before 2023 is over and you can forget you ever owned it.
I don't care that much either way. But like, what happens if they win against the sec in court? Kinda just plan on holding it at least until then, assuming I even realize it happened. I really don't check on it except maybe once every month or 2.

Once the ruling comes out is probably your best short term liquidity event.  Getting to .75 on hype seems feasible given where it is now.  It might make it back to around $2 when btc goes nuts again in 2024.
Yo look at me almost not losing money (if I sell)  :gocho:

Nice. Enjoy the ride the next year and a half. Should be fun.

I introduced someone to BTC tonight that hadn’t ever even considered it or done a deep dive. Their facial expressions as I got into it are, and always will be, priceless. When some gets it and they are about to go down that rabbit hole of discovery. Man. What a great feeling.

I think DBT would be a good recruiter for the church of scientology.

No! You fool! This would be funnier if I hadn't lost dozens of farms based directly on your fiduciary advice.

I've had my fair share of mixed feelings too. Some days it feels like soaring to the moon, and other times it's like a rollercoaster drop! But it's all part of the crypto adventure! I've had moments of frustration, too, especially when the prices swing unexpectedly. But we all know that it can be unexpected. I use white label digital exchange of assets just to be on the safer side. I hope you'll get better!
