Why doesn't KU and KSU play in Arrowhead?

Matthew Smith, associate director of bands at the KU School of Music, said the decision to cancel the halftime segment was not hastily made. Instead, he said, organizers are attributing the change to a combination of dwindling interest from high schools, reduced parking space and other “logistical” challenges, such as limited storage space for large instruments at Memorial Stadium, that have emerged over the last several years.

I don't think I've been to Arrowhead since the Eddie Robinson or the Big 12 champy loss to OU. Whichever was last.

I hope I get to go back for the WC. Other than that, yuck.

Eddie Robinson v Cal was '03. Crazy to think honestly that we played 15 fuckings game that year.

Only 'cause I had to look it up because I couldn't remember for sure:  2000 was the Eddie Robinson vs. Iowa and it was hotter than crap.  '03 was BCA classic vs. Cal.  I wasn't there so I don't remember the weather.  Was that a day game as well?  Days games in August at Arrowhead:  colossally stupid idea.

yeah, the 2000 game vs Iowa in Arrowhead my grandfather had a heat stroke and had to be rushed into the hospital.

Yeah. It was against Iowa. Khalil Hill I believe was their big wideout. Think he had tape on his facemask.
