I never got glasses, so I'm kind of SOL.

I figured that I'd go follow the other one coming in 2024 if I feel like I really missed out on something.

Pretty cloudy in OP.  My neighbors let me look through their glasses for a bit of it.

The locusts all started buzzing in the middle of the day.  That was the weirdest thing.

My office of around 80 people only have three special glasses and are passing them around. I'm outside DC, so we won't get the totality bit, but it is still pretty cool. I can't imagine shelling out money to fly somewhere to watch it though.

Supposedly the 100% view is like 1000 times better than the 99% view.

I traveled from approx 159th and Quivera to 143rd and State line because I heard the view would be better.  I think it probably was but now i'm about seven deep at the 4way stop on 159th and Switzer.  :driving:  It sucks guys.  Never seen traffic like this out here.
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

I hope one of my pals on FB caught a pic, any pic, of their expeirences and posts it but really doubt that will happen.  I mean if I was still on FB that is...
