where is the "second world" and why doesn't anyone talk about it

I think that's most of eastern Europe and a good portion of Latin America  :dunno:

Correct on the eastern Europe part.

Quick history lesson-

The term 1/2/3 World countries came about during the cold war. The first world was USA and all their allies, the second world was the USSR and all the soviet bloc aligned countries.

The third world was all the other countries that weren't strongly aligned with either the USA or USSR, think Africa/south America/southeast asia.

So, one of the up escalators here at the office is not working.  I had to walk nearly 75 feet out of my way to the nearest elevator to get to the 2nd floor.

I would have just went home.

The thought did cross my mind but they catered lunch.

An escalator seems weird in an office setting.  Just stick with elevator and stairs.

3:03am, i'm hungry... only thing open is mcdonalds... alright... drive to mcdonalds... computers are down so they can't take any orders... crap!

go to 24hour grocery store... wander around for 20 minutes deciding what i want... pick up some hamburger and buns... costs twice what i would have spent on fast food and i'll probably throw half of it away tomorrow... drive home... it's already 3:40

now i'm grilling burgers at 4(am) and hating life.  cooking your own food is so lame  :Yuck:

I'm downloading an ISO file that is over 3GB in size and it's going to take longer than 10 minutes but less than 11 minutes to download.   :dubious:

So a little context, I have 150 down but the entity that I am downloading it from doesn't support torrents for one, but also is throttling me to 50 down  :shakesfist:
