No offense, but that's why I've never understood double majors. You might as well settle with whatever degree you get and then move on to get a masters. It's different for you tho, because didn't you get your business degree first and then go back for IT?

Yeah I got my degree then found out I should probably have never gone into that to begin with.  Looking back I should have gone into IT from the start but life doesn't always point you in the right direction right away.

I got two fine arts degrees (I accomplished this by using the main courses for both degrees as the elective courses for the other) and have a decent paying job in my field. But maybe I am just one of the lucky ones? :dunno:

Also, my American Ethnic Studies secondary degree is very lolwtf, but I keep it on my resume because it makes it look like I tried harder than I actually did.

Journalism may be the weakest degree that exists. I have no sympathy for anyone losing a job that involves asking easy questions and opinion pieces
I have a journalism degree. It helps people from being unconfident akward losers and i'm doing fine. Also, a degree is better than no degree. Maybe take a jab at Psych degrees.
Every degree that I know of requires papers. Every person has an opinion.

I'm grumpy today so I'm going to take a jab. Your use of the English language and having a journalism degree proves my point.

Yet because of my communication skills that I mastered in school and through journalism, I can sell the crap out of a doctor to fill a practice. I'm in charge of thee most important thing in my company. The journalism school also allowed me to be the main ambassador and travel to speak with students about K-state and what it has to offer. Get a degree and then get back to me. You have to know that's a major insult, right? Say what you want about my wife (like you have), but trashing someone who put themselves through school and finished is bullshit.

Not only that, but the experiences I've had throughout radio are insane. I've met top notch ppl and it helped shape who I am.

If you want to compare lives, Wacky, just say so. No doubt you'll pull some other lie about Common when you realize your life wasn't really that bad.

You had to go to school to learn something that others inherently know.

No I will not insult your wife. That was the very lowest of my posting on here and still feel bad about it in real life. It was disgusting and gross. It said more about my state of mind than it did you or your wife. Honestly, I'm jealous that you get to go home every night to someone that loves you.

My point is that any other major could also be a journalist. I'm not trying to cut down the profession. You could have learned all that you did with a different major.

Just reread, as I tend to do, your get a degree smack is hilarious.

Do you think your degree(s) (bravo, seriously) set you above me? Do you think those that have  degrees have better thoughts?

If you want to run down a list of how much harder your life was and how much work it took for you to get a degree (the second was on spare time, again, that's awesome) feel free.

You're life hadn't been that hard. You had to pay for school as most people do. You banged a lot of women. You are athletic. You are white and have a penis. You kicked ass and have a job that you love. You married a woman you love and get to spend as much time with her as you can.

Again. If you want to quibble about how hard life is, I'll go back an forth all day. As I am single and I have Friday and Saturday off.

My biggest beef is how middle class white guys whine and complain. Life sucks sometimes, if you don't like it opt out.
