He’s basically a wide receiver playing Qb. Very fast and skinny. Can’t throw

:driving:
this coach is the first actual coach that they have had since gill and as deputy dawg said there is some discipline in this team. they’re actually playing football versus wtf we’ve seen lately.  right now they just don’t have any talent.
We say this every year.  The bar is so low among fans, when really, there were certainly a few games in Miles' tenure where KU looked like they may have something.  2019 BC, 2019 Texas, 2019 Tech, 2019 Iowa State.  They were sorta competitive with coastal last year, almost beat tech.

KU so far this year beat South Dakota in a nailbiter and got blown out by coastal.  "Oh look at this progress!"

Maybe Liepold gets them on track, maybe not, but i don't know how you can look at what they've done so far and walk away thinking it looks like anything other than what we've seen out of them since 2010.

This bean fella looks to be their best QB in the last decade.  His play alone makes me think they are improved.  It's a low bar for them, but I think he's a serviceable qb at this level.  And the eye test for me says they showed quite a bit of improvement from week 1 to week 2.
8-17 for 57 yards yesterday.

Did he get pulled?
Hard to tell whether he was “pulled” or just took him out because they were getting blown out, but yeah.  Daniels and Kendrick were the two QBs in the fourth quarter (in that order).

Duke guy threw a text book pick six.

Except the quarterback ran down the corner from behind. Ku missed the field goal

Distracting myself from last night's game with a little sports-reference meets spreadsheet for KU.  Top 10 decades by winning pct for worst seasons overall and in conference.

2008, but the 2007 season, which made this database!
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Imagine winning a conference game every other year for a decade.

It is a truly impressive feat to have your win percentage get steadily worse each decade for 90 years. Point shaving?

When they start beating us like they did with Prince's teams, then we know they turned the corner.
Hot time in Kat town tonight.

College football is such a head scratcher. Like, Iowa State jumps out to this big lead, even though KU is the better team with the better coach. It just doesn't make sense sometimes.

ku absolutely has better coaching/talent than iowa state- but football is a game of momentum and ku has really incredible momentum but it’s the bad kind of momentum

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

You can point to all the stats and whatnot, but you avoid a shutout against this ISU team and it’s as good as a win in my book. Congrats Hawks.
