Justifiable homicide?  Ertz had a choice whether to kill an old lady and save a baby, or kill the baby and save an old lady.  If that old lady is my grandma, it is a good thing.  If it's your grandma, that's a bad thing.  I get it.
I bet it was more like the back story for Cameron Poe in Con Air and the other guy totally deserved it

Or maybe it was like Saw...

some deranged KU fan kidnapped Ertz and some cats fans and made them do unspeakable things to one another to stay alive and the cats fans sacrificed themselves to keep Ertz and our season alive and even though Ertz is scared for life he is going to play lights out all year in order to make sure those cats fans did not die for him in vain.

I would define that as "shocking".

KU fans want us to keep Ertz because he's a slow immobile quarterback

Pvegs once pointed out to me a bar here that caters to bears, and there's probably a lot more than one.  If this all led to more bars putting a priority on showing KSU football, it would be fantastic.

Meanwhile the satanic bar is way down in olympia.

A bear bar probably wouldn't be as fun as a drag bar, but still fun.  Probably decent odds of getting the game on TV at bear bar.

Heard that Dimel suffered an injury in the weight room. Had to be taken to the hospital.

Don't know how bad the injury was, but it was bad enough that Winston was to be taken to the hospital from the weight room (not under his own power).

Hopefully, it's a 4 to 6 week type of thing, but doesn't sound good.

The scuttlebutt over on GoPowercat is that someone is coming out as gay. The SportsCenter ticker headline currently reads "Kansas State Courage".

Take it FWIW

Seeing tweets that ESPN didn't run the segment. Not at a TV and my app is acting up. Anybody got anything?

My question is this: Why is this newsworthy?

If the LGBTQ community really wants to be treated like the rest of us, then don't make a big deal about coming out.

Or, one of the big hairy linemen is gay.  I think that is not good thing, if he is a bear and into other big hairy guys.  It's a good thing if he likes trim hot guys.

I disagree. Although I do look forward to the day when if someone says "I'm gay", the response is "so what". We're getting closer to that point all the time. But for now, there are still many young people (and frankly mature adults) who still are too scared to "come out". The more exposure to this, the less there will be need for it. It's a good thing. Not a sit down and be quiet thing.

Those first few OBz press conferences when there's like 30 extra new media types there is gonna be something.  On one hand, he could use this as a way to preclude talking about football as he likes to do to not give away any precious KSU gridiron secrets.  On the other hand, he could end up saying something absurd and it'll be Sean time.

I agree.  It just seemed like that would be the obvious after the original post about it.
