Babies are so boring. Sleep 20 hours a day, cry 2 hours a day, eat 1 hour a day, poop 1 hour a day. Good grief, say something funny or something.

When they sleep draw dicks on the face and post to FB.

They don't ask for stuff yet. That's good. Kids say funny stuff but ask for things constantly. "Dada I want a cookie, Dada I want to watch Toy Story" Good Grief.

you know how one of those tropes that you see in kid rom-coms and stuff all the time about how kids have black magic computer powers with their ridiculous pounding on keyboards?

my son just made this: ? in like 2 seconds.  I have no clue here.

This reminds me. After researching this for years I finally decided that having kids is really the only way you will ever experience true joy or satisfaction in your life and if you don't have them you are wasting your existence. So, I'm probably going to do it. Thanks for all the advice everyone.

Just do it already.  I know where you can buy a bunch of EMAW stuff for newborns.  Probably find you a deal and stuff.

This is actually a great selling point.

i'm under the assumption that in a few years more people will have kids and my place becomes the place for kidpaks instead of katpaks and everyones kid(s) gets dropped off at my place before a big game to be supervised by a couple of college ages kid sitters while the adults go pak in aggieville or the parking lot or something.  :dunno:

I am going to hold you to that.

so the above and how this is needs to happen next year you mother fuckers...

also, re-reading the first ten pages of this are fun. i also probably agree w/ chum more now than i did then. it really is the project of projects and you get to chose how involved you want to be. sometimes being super involved is beneficial though and sometimes you have to just be a manager and be hands off. can't wait to revisit this thing in another three-five years.

Ha ha.  I just remember thinking, "Jesus Christ, the best thing anyone can say about having kids is that your life doesn't have to change if you do?"
