Parents should make facebook pages for their kids.  That way, if you care about those kids, you can friend them and read about how funny they are and the awesome pictures that they take.

that's the way facebook is moving and i should probably do this and cancel my adult account. look, i hate people that post every other day about their dumbass kids and how hard their life is more than you guys do. trust me. it's painful.  i just don't hate the person that posts twice a month with three pictures of his kids and the kids dominate their profile or whatever.
Yeah, this doesn't really bother me too bad, it's the ones that dominate my news feed with stuff their child does that they think is amazing, except it is just normal things that kids do.

I always feel bad for the dogs in families that have kids. I always asks how the hounds are doing because nobody ever asks about them anymore, but also because I find their dogs interesting and could give a crap about their kids. Don't forget about the dogs people.

Look, I am just saying that one day you guys will post some kid pics right before going to a Pak, then the following month you will see Chris Hansen hosting a How ToCatch A Pred from your kitchen followed shortly by Fitz being tackled on your front lawn while a 6'er of Mikes Hard scatters violently.

So sad...

Our dogs are miserable now.  We are basically waiting for them to die so we can have the one room they're allowed in back.

Look, the truth is, all guys think the way you do before they have kids. Having kids is such an indescribable thing that you just don't understand unless and until you have them...and until you do, everyone else with kids is going to be super rough ridin' annoying to you. Basically every post in this thread is predictable and none of you are unique.

Neither are you.

For what it's worth, the only proof I need that there is a God is that I never made any babies.  Now, granted, I had something to do with it -- I bought condoms by the crate.  But while I'm (1) a pretty good stepdad (to adult kids), (2) an okay step-grandpa (to kids I only have to see once or twice a year), and (3) a decent uncle (see 1 and 2), I know for a fact that I would be a terrible dad.  Plus, if I were a dad I wouldn't be getting away with half the stuff I do now, and I wouldn't have traveled or lived in all the cool places I've been.  So yeah, people, I'm one of those irresponsible, selfish people who doesn't like kids and really doesn't like your kids.
I'm not a psychopath.  I'm a high-functioning sociopath.  Do your research.

Why do some facebook parents completely devote their page to their kids and then refuse to let their kids have a facebook account? I mean I can understand not wanting them to have an account, but when you put their pictures and what they are doing all over your account anyway, what's the point?

Why are some parents chain smokers and then refuse to let their kids smoke?

I parents who give their kids stupid names like this.  Is Braxtyn a boy or a girl?  Does it matter?  I predict Braxtyn will be a spoiled annoying little crap regardless.  Only annoying assholes can have a name like that.

Was discussing this the other day with people. What the hell happened to good traditional names? Everything now has to be spelled with a 'y' or end with a 'inn" sound. It's as if parents are naming their kids after strippers and porn stars

Jayden, Jesslynn, Brayden, Kaytlynn, and Daylon are all names I've heard in the past month. Terrible names.

This doesn't  bother me ass much ass the parents who change the spelling of a name.  They end up butchering it and think they are sooo clever.

Example: Armani changed to R'mani  :runaway:

If you do anything with facebook, a large percentage of people will be annoyed by it. No matter what you do. (And I agree parents are generally terrible on facebook)

When I worked collections I called a lady named La-a.  Pronounce la-dash-a.  Yup.  Used a dash (hyphen, actually).

Yeah, I saw that chain letter cycle through my email several times over the past five years or so.   Good joke.
