Tonight me and the two year old laid in the grass in the back yard for 45 minutes watching the planes come in.  It was pretty great.
I got a guy on the other line about some white walls

Great week in the Tennessee mountains hiking with my kids. I'm enjoying them being older and doing fun stuff with them. Made plans with the oldest to help her buy a car when she gets a job in a few months. :)

Apparently if you have a kid in school, you are supposed to buy the teacher a Christmas gift. SMDH
And don't forget about the art teacher, music teacher, gym teacher, librarian, and latch key people.

I just received the following text from my wife.

Your daughter asked if I would make believe with her. I asked her what she wanted to make believe and she said "I want to make believe that I am eating tacos and watching the Kansas City Chiefs football game."

That's great SB!  So, how does this effect Reno?  You already have the sleep schedule for it, but man, that's a lot of work.

My 5 y/o son went shopping with my wife.  He comes home with a huge grin on his face.  He hands me a lightsaber they got on clearance, and then he said, "Now we can all have lightsabers and fight!"

So, my two sons and I had a lightsaber fight on Sunday morning.  It was glorious.

Anyone else have a sitch where their daycare wasn't letting their kid come back even though they're not meeting any of the criteria for illness in the handbook and they have a doctor's note saying that their child is perfectly fine? This has been going on for over a week now, and we're on the hook financially for each of those days he has missed as well. I'm about to rage, but am really trying not to, because I have to deal with these people for another 2.5 years. Thoughts?
